Every year, Arts Liaisons are asked to complete the Creative Schools Survey via Ingenuity’s online portal, artlookschools.com. By providing and/or verifying information about arts education at their school, they contribute to the creation of a clear picture of arts instruction across the district.
Survey data is used to identify each school’s Creative Schools Category (from Incomplete Data to Excelling). This is listed on the school’s public-facing progress report card along with other indicators of academic performance.
By completing the survey, Arts Liaisons secure $1,000 in Arts Essentials funding to be spent on arts supplies and resources in the upcoming school year, and also make their school eligible for Creative Schools Fund grants in the upcoming school year.
How to Complete the 2018-19 SurveyArts Liaisons will receive an email on April 29, 2019 from [email protected] that contains information for logging into and completing their school’s survey on artlookschools.com.
Please note that this year’s survey has undergone several updates, detailed in this FAQ sheet. To make completion easier, Liaisons should consider gathering all relevant information (including course schedules and enrollment data) before beginning the survey.
Completed surveys are due on June 3rd, 2019.
Don’t hesitate to reach out to Ingenuity at [email protected] or call 312-967-0651 if you have any questions or concerns about the Survey.
